Our Curriculum
We will be following the Common Core State Standards curriculum that most states also follow. The purpose of this curriculum is to streamline what students in each state are studying, and provide a "common" set of standards on which students focus. One projected outcome is that if students move from one state to another, there will not be a large gap in what was covered previously and what they are expected to know in their new setting.
I will share the standards here that we will focus on during a specific period and a general description of what will be covered in those standards. The activities we work on will be based on these standards and the expected outcomes. Check back often as these will change.
